Ok, so I’ve been putting off my portfolio redesign for months… make that years now because I always seem to be too busy with other things. Well today, I suddenly decided that it’s time to make this happen, so all other priorities are being pushed aside for the rest of the evening to see how far I can get.
First step, upgrading wordpress and loading it up with all my standard plugins. I’m beginning with my core set:
- WordPress Automatic Upgrade — I wish all upgrades were this easy.
- WP Cache — because fresh content doesn’t always mean fresh calculations.
- SEM Google Analytics — one less thing to hard-code in template files.
- Google Sitemap Generator — for we must appease the great and powerful Goooog.
- Akismet — …not that I expect to get any comments at all yet.
Textile 2 — so this list formats correctly.Well, that did’t work. I’m considering trying out Text Control instead.
